The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly candidate for Abeokuta South State Constituency II, Hon. Adeoye Adewale Adeniran, popularly known as A3, has received royal blessings from the Olubara of Ibara Kingdom, Oba Jacob Olufemi Omolade, and the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Adeoye, accompanied by the Ibara Balogun Woro and other prominent chiefs of Ibara, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubara's Palace to seek the monarch's blessings for his aspiration to represent Abeokuta South Constituency II in the Ogun State House of Assembly.

The Olubara prayed for the PDP candidate and urged him to remain truthful to the people by keeping faith with the promises he makes during his campaign, while asking God to grant him success in his political journey.

The House of Assembly hopeful later joined the Ogun State PDP delegation led by the party's governorship candidate, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, on a consultation visit to the Alake and Egba Traditional Council at the Ake Palace, Abeokuta.

The delegation also included the PDP deputy governorship candidate, Alhaja Lateefat Oyeyemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, Ogun Central Senatorial candidate, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo, and other party leaders, where they equally received royal blessings and words of encouragement.

The visit to the Alake's Palace was particularly symbolic for Adebutu as the monarch acknowledged his ancestral roots in Egbaland, recalling that his great-grandfather, Pa Alimi Adebutu, lived and was buried at Ijeun Akoni in Odeda Local Government Area.

Oba Gbadebo also urged political leaders and their supporters to conduct peaceful, issue-based campaigns and uphold the values of unity, respect and harmony as the state prepares for the 2027 elections.

Responding on behalf of the delegation, Adebutu thanked the traditional rulers for their fatherly prayers and pledged to work closely with traditional institutions to promote peace, good governance and sustainable development if elected governor.

Hon. Adeoye Adeniran also expressed appreciation to both the Olubara and the Alake, describing their royal blessings as a great source of encouragement and reaffirming his commitment to providing quality representation and pursuing community-driven development initiatives for the people of Abeokuta South Constituency II.
