An Ogun State governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adekunle Akinlade, has congratulated the presidential flagbearer of the Party, Asiwaju Bol Tinubu on his success at the primaries.
Akinlade, in a statement signed by his media aide, Azeez Adelani, and made available to HorizonTimes, the former governorship candidate asserted that the former Lagos State Governor will bring t bear, his wealth of experience and knowledge to build on the legacies of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“The statement reads, “I join millions of party faithful across the country and other well-wishers in congratulating our National leader, H.E, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as our party's presidential flag bearer for the 2023 general elections.
“I have no doubt in me that; Asiwaju will bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to build on the enduring legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari while addressing the yearnings of Nigerians in areas such as insecurity, dwindling economic fortunes among others.
“Asiwaju's efforts and contribution to the entrenchment and deepening of our nation's democracy can not be over emphasized and it is my prayer that the Almighty God grant him the health, wisdom and the wherewithal to achieve success in the general elections.”
Akinlade, a former House of Representatives member, was the governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM in the 2019 elections in the State, and first runner up to Governor Dapo Abiodun.
