Following the earlier reports on the state of environmental sanitation in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, (https://horizontimesng.com/special-report-ogun-state-the-dirtiest-capital-in-nigeria-part-i/), HorizonTimes again visited some major areas in the state capital and the situations appear only better off on the Kuto/Oke-Mosan road.

In this report, HorizonTimes completes observation on the Totoro-Sokori road and also visited the Brewery-Lafenwa road and also the Enugada-Itoku-Sapon road.

At the Brewery-Lafenwa Road, the situation was worrisome as resident in those areas reported that waste managers have not been to the area in the last one month. The Iyana Igbore along the Itoku road was also an eyesore as the refuse adorned every available space on the highway. Not even the drafting of vigilante men could stop them.
