A real estate entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ambassador Babatunde Adeyemo, has announced more support to the family of the late former Chairman of the Ogun Correspondent Chapel, Wale Adewunmi with a pledge to provide free medicare to them for the next 12 months.
Adeyemo who had earlier announced scholarship to late Adewunmi's first child, the 16 - year old Miss Mokeseoluwa, upto the university level, also placed the widow, Mrs Titilope Adewunmi, on a stipend of N25K for the next six months.
The philanthropist who is equally the the CEO of a Nigerian real estate firm - Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, made this known when he paid a condolence visit to the family at their Obantoko residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Adeyemo said the philanthropic gestures would be executed through the the Oko Opo Foundation, a charitable organisation that was established to support the widows, children and the downtrodden members of the society.
Adeyemo who was accompanied by some members of the management and Directors of the Oko Opo Foundation, including his wife Mrs Titilayo Adeyemo, also provided food items to the family.
He urged the widow not to despair much over the demise of her beloved husband and father of her children, encouraging her to take solace in the faith that the departed journalist would find eternal peace in the Lord.
He described the deceased as an enterprising journalist, a loving husband and caring father to his wife and beautiful children
