The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Osun State, has described as incorrect and mischievous, a report in the section of the media that the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the State, Dr Mutiu Agboke admitted to overvoting in the State governorship election held last year.
The Commission, in a statement by Adewale Francis, the State Head of Department, Voter Education, Publicity and Inclusivity, Thursday, said the REC only spoke about the efficacy of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS in election process.

The Commission also advised journalists to always verify the source of their information before going to the press.
