‘Oloyede's style of leadership needed for growth, national development’ – Unilorin Alumni

The University of Ilorin Alumi Association has described the Registrar of the Join Admission and Matriculation Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede’s style of leadership as one that is needed for the growth of national development.

 The Association while lauding Oloyede for admitting errors in the 2025 Unified Matriculation Examination results said he has demonstrated leadership and responsibility by admitting the errors.

In a statement signed by Prof. AbdulRasak Kilani, the National President of the Alumni, Oloyede’s style is a commendable feat needed in public service.

It however suggested identifying and sanctioning the Service Providers responsible for the reputational challenge for examination body.

The statement reads, “Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar has demonstrated leadership and responsibility by admitting the errors made by others.

“This is a commendable feat needed in public service.

“Prof. Oloyede mobilised the right resources to identify the causes of the glitches in the JAMB system.

“His actions have shown honesty and integrity and have affirmed Oloyede as a man of honour.

“The glitches could have been swept under the carpet, but Prof. Oloyede took the part of honour by accepting responsibility.

“Oloyede's style of leadership is needed for growth and national development.

“We strongly suggest identifying and sanctioning those Service Providers responsible for this reputational challenge for JAMB.”
