The All Progressives Congress, has been declared winner of Saturday’s election for Ado/Igbesa (Ado Odo/Ota II) State Constituency of the Ogun State House of Assembly.
Announcing the result, Professor Alake Christopher Olusanya returned Lamidi Musefiu Olatunji as elected, having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored highest number of lawful votes.
Musefiu, according to the returning officer, polled a total of 11, 500 votes to defeat his closest rival, Tells Nureni Abayomi of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who polled 10, 218 votes.
Daisi Jacob Taiwo of the African Democratic Party, ADC, came third with 4, 405 votes.
