The Best Graduating student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB, Senibi Solomon Olaoluwa revealed that he was warned, by neighbours, of possibility of developing a brain tumor for his love for reading.

Senibi shared his inspiring story in his Valedictory Speech delivered on behalf of the Graduating Class of 2023/2024 Academic Session at the 32nd Convocation Ceremony of FUNAAB, held recently.

Senibi who graduated from the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics, reflected on his journey at FUNAAB, expressing gratitude for the support of his family, lecturers, and mentors.

Despite facing criticism for his love of reading and being warned that excessive reading could lead to a brain tumor, and facing challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and industrial actions, Senibi noted that he maintained his dedication to his studies and credited his success to his reading habits.

He thanked his parents, siblings, and benefactors for their support, as well as his Professors and mentors for their guidance.
