Residents of a neighbourhood of Kubuwa village, FCT, few days ago reportedly caught two men engaging in outlawed homosexual act in the neighbourhood.
It was gathered that one of the gays identified as Akinluyi Opeyemi Olalekan, was a resident of Kubuwa village.
A neighbour, according to a source who craved anonymity, caught Akinluyi and one other who was later identified as Olumide Daramola, in the act and promptly raised alarm to call the attention of other community members.
Akinluyi and Olumide were reportedly beaten blue black by the community members for engaging in the act that is prohibited in Nigeria.
The source said, “On October 20, 2024, a resident of Kubwa in FCT and who operates a laundry business in the same community was caught by neighbours having a sexual affair with another man.
An eyewitness account who pleaded anonymity recounted that Akinluyi was nearly lynched but for quick intervention of some security operatives who came to their rescue.
He was later reported to have escaped from the security operatives for fear of being prosecuted.
