As at 8.30am on Wednesday, Donald Trump has 267 of the 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House and is leading in key races left to be called: Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
Trump’s victory in Pennsylvania has put him three electoral votes short of winning the presidency.
He could win the White House by capturing Alaska or any remaining swing state.
Late vote updates is being awaited from Michigan’s Wayne County and Wisconsin’s Milwaukee County, two Democratic strongholds that present Harris’ only path to win either state.
Alaska, Arizona, two districts in Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are races that are left to be called.
