The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Iyiola Omisore is presently attending the meeting of the National Working Committee of the Party being presided over by the Deputy National Chairman, North, Abubakar Kyari.

The development has put an end to the speculations over the reported resignation of the National Chairman of the Party, Senator Adamu Abdullahi who reportedly thrown in the towel, on the order of President Bola Tinubu, on Sunday.

Around 10:40 am on Monday, the Deputy National Chairman led a team of seven other members of the NWC to a meeting in his office.

Around 11:20 am, the National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, arrived at the secretariat and joined others in the meeting.

Emma Enukwu, deputy national chairman (south); Issacs Kekemeke, vice-chairman south-west; Salihu Lukman, vice-chairman north-west; and Festus Fuanter, deputy national legal secretary; are among those attending the meeting at the party’s headquarters.

There is heavy presence of security personnel around the headquarters of the party located in the Wuse 2 district of the federal capital territory (FCT).
