Following the removal of the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Phillip Shuaib, the Governor, Godwin Obaseki has appointed Omobayo Marvellous Godwins, a 38-year-old Engineer, as his deputy.

Shuaib was removed the by House of Assembly on Monday following the consideration of a 7 man panel set up by the Chief Judge of the State.
