The Central Bank of Nigeria, Tuesday, increased the Automated Teller Machine Transaction fee from other banks to N100 per transaction.

According to a circular sent to all banks and commercial institutions, the Apex Bank has adjusted the N35 fee after third withdrawal from another bank to N100 per transaction of N20,000.

Withdrawal from another institutions ATM machine outside the bank premises, off site ATMs, attracts surcharge of not more than N500 in addition to the N100 on every transaction.

The new regulation, according to the circular dated 10 February 2025 takes effect from March 1, 2025.
