The Ogun State Police Command has called on members of the public to assist in locating a Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer, SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, and her daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who have been declared missing in Abeokuta.

According to a statement issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Omolola Odutola, the report of their disappearance was lodged at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters on Tuesday, November 5, 2025, by an FRSC officer serving in Abeokuta alongside the victims’ family members.

Preliminary information revealed that SRC Lasisi, aged 38, and her daughter left their residence at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday morning, November 2, 2025, and have not returned home since.

All attempts to reach her via phone have been unsuccessful, the statement said.

The statement further said the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, has directed an immediate and comprehensive investigation to determine their whereabouts and ensure their safe return.

The Command urged anyone with useful information that could aid in locating the missing mother and child to contact the nearest police station or reach the Command through its emergency numbers: 0800 000 9111, 0915 957 8888, or +234 803 860 9898.

CSP Odutola assured that all information provided would be treated with utmost confidentiality as part of the ongoing efforts to reunite the victims with their family.
