As Nigerians continue to mourn over the attack on the Abuja/Kaduna train by terrorists, a family of six, including father, mother and there four children are still missing.

It was gathered that the family's whereabout are unknown since thr attack, fanning speculations that they might have been kidnapped.

It will be recalled that the attack which led to the death of some of the passengers have left many others hospitalised while the whereabouts of others remained unknown.

Survivors who are currently receiving treatments in some of the hospital in Kaduna had narrated how the train was attacked at around 7:50 pm on Monday.

Some of the survivors who spoke said they went through hell in the hands of the terrorists.

A survivor identified as Fatima Shuaibu narrated how her sister was shot in the stomach by the attackers and died in her arms.

She explained that the train was approaching Kaduna when they suddenly heard a loud explosion after which the train detailed.

She said security agents asked them to lie down in order not to get shot, but her sister, Zainab Awwal, was hit by a bullet before she could lie down.

She added that the terrorists operated for two hours before they were stopped by the troops of the Nigerian Army and Air Force.

 

"They went to the VIP coach, abducted some people, and shot some dead," She narrated

A resident revealed about the passing of his childhood friend whom he had not seen for close to 15years but died as a result of the train attack.

Narrating his ordeal, he said his childhood friend who was to travel to Kano by air had been advised by him to go through the train station so they could meet and catch up on old times, but unfortunately his friend was hit by the terrorists bullet and died in his presence at the hospital where the victims were rushed to.

"This is one of the most horrifying experience for me. It is really sad that Kaduna insecurity situation has gotten worst," He lamented.
