The Supreme Court, Wednesday, slamed Counsels to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party in February 2023 election, for raising issue of double nomination again.
The court however dismissed the entire appeal filled by Obi for lack of merit.
The judgement wqs delivered within less than one minute after appearances were announced.
The court held that all issues, except one, raised in the appeal of Peter Obi had been determined in the already decided appeal filed by Atiku Abubakar.
On the case of double nomination, the court wondered why the case was brough before it after same had been earlier determined.
It recalled how the court below quoted the judgement of the Supreme Court in its determination of allegation of double nomination against the Vice President, Kassim Shettima.
"There must be an end to litigation...This appeal lacks merit and accordingly dismissed."
