The Crescent indicating the commencement of the Holy Month of Ramadan has been sighted in Saudi Arabia.

This is according to the news announced via social media platforms of Harman.

With the announcement, the 2024 Ramadan fasting begins on Monday in Saudi Arabia.

It says, “The crescent moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Ramadan 1445 will begin tonight.

“May Allāh accept our siyām, qiyām & acts of worship and may He grant us the ability to utilise the precious moments of this Blessed month to engage in that which pleases Him. Aameen.”

In line with the tradition of Islam, Nigeria Muslims await the announcement by the Sultan of Sokoto and the President General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Nigeria.
