Sultan of Sokoto and the President General, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, His Eminence Saad Abubakar has announced positive sighting of Ramadhan crescent in Nigeria.

With the announcement, 2024 Ramadhan fasting commences on Monday 11th March in Nigeria.

Making the announcement a while ago in his Palace, the Sultan said positive reports were received from muslim leaders across the country.
