Ogun State Police has invited a popular Rights Activist and Social Critic, Adetoun Onajobi popularly called JustAdetoun for defaming the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Boluwatife Babaseyi confirmed the development in a telephone interview.

The PPRO said she has been invited, adding further that her lawyer had reached out to the police.

He said the police are expecting her to honour the invitation any moment from now.

"We have invited her, we are expecting her to honour the invitation but her lawyer has reached out to us, we are expecting her to honour the invitation. I will give you a feedbak immediately there's any other development."

Adetoun, an Ogun State born activist, recently attacked the personality of the Governor in a series on videos posted on her social media handles.

The attacks follow the accident involving the Nigerian born British professional boxer, Anthony Joshua in December 2025.

The former heavyweight champion lost his two friends and trainers in the accident when their SUV ram into a stationary truck along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Adetoun, while criticizing the Ogun State Governor, alleged that Joshua and his friends were abandoned by Ogun State, alleging further that the state has no single functional ambulance.

In one of the vides, Adetoun alleged Dapo Abiodun of impregnating people, alleging further that the only thing Dapo Abiodun knows is partying.

In one of the clips, she further alleged that the governor is also an expert in embezzling public fund and seizing people’s properties.

At a point, he said those who gave birth to Dapo Abidoun should apologise to the people.
