Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja in the ongoing judgment against the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has convicted him of terrorism.

Justice Omotosho, in the ongoing judgment held that Nnadi Kanu belonged to the proscribed IPOB and coordinated its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network.

He also convicted Kanu of inciting and coordinating violence during the EndSARS protest in the country which led to the killing of security operatives and destruction of government properties including court and police stations.

The judge also held that Kanu is not only a local terrorist but an international terrorist.

‘Such person can not be allowed to be in the midst of human being,’ the Judge held.

The judgement is still onbgoing as at the time of filling this report.

The Judge had ordered Kanu to be removed from the courtroom after he became unruly midway into the proceedings.

The judge had ruled and dismissed three fresh motions filed by Kanu after the case was adjourned for judgment and dismissed them for being unmeritorious.

As the judge moved to deliver the ruling earlier scheduled for Thursday, Kanu argued that the court could not proceed because he was yet to file his final written address.

Raising his voice, Kanu accused the judge of being biased and claimed that the judge did not know the law.

Kanu has since been moved out of the courtroom, while the judge delivering his final judgment in his absentia.
