The Super Eagles of Nigeria will slug it out with the Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire in the final of the ongoing African Cup of Nations, following the 1 nill victory of the host against DR Congo in the second semi final game of the tournament.

Nigeria had earlier defeated the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on penalties in the first semi final game played on Wedneday.

Super Eagles of Nigeria had defeated the Elephants during the group stage, thanks to a 55th minutes penalty by the Eagles Captain, William Troost-Ekong.

The game will be played on Sunday at the Stade Alassane Ouattara stadium by 9pm (Nigerian time).
