The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is set to resume the collation of result in the controversial governorship election in Adamawa State.

This is as the Commissioner as deployed the National Commissioner of the Commissioner for South West, Sam Olumekun, to oversee the concluding part of the collation in the North East State.

The Commission had promised to resume the collation of results of the Saturday’s rerun governorship election at a time to be announced by the Returning Officer of the State.

The Commission, following the suspension of the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Barrister Hudu Yunusa-Ari, has directed the State Administrative Secretary to take over the office.
