The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared the former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre sylva wanted over alleged diversion of $14.9 million.
According to the Commission, the former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, diverted the amount meant for construction of a refinery.
The former Minister is also being fingered in an ongoing investigation into an alleged botched coup to oust President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement signed by Dele Oyewale, the Head of Media and Publicity of the commission, the money is part of the fund injected by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, into Atlantic International Refinery and Petrochemical Limited.
Oyewale said the wanted notice was pursuant to a warrant of a Lagos State High Court issues last week.
