President Muhammadu has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria to release old N200 notes in its custody back to circulation to complement the circulation of new Naira notes within circulation.

The President in an early morning national broadcast on Thursday said the old N200 notes  will remain a legal tender till April, 2023.
