Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the former Governor of Ogun State is currently leading the governorship campaign of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in the State.
The former Governor, an APC Senator representing Ogun Central at the National Assembly, said he was leading the campaign because of continuity of what he did in Ogun State.
As the candidate of the ADC in Ogun, Biyi Otegbeye, flagged off his campaign, the arrival of Amosun who stormed the venue at 1:49pm elicited applause of party faithful at the event.
Amosun had earlier said he would support the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, for the presidency, but would support Otegbeye for governor.
Amosun led the candidate of the Party on a courtesy call on Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo.
Shortly after the courtesy call, the former Governor also led open campaign at the Alake ground.
