Hamas’s armed wing says it handed over 13 Israeli captives and seven foreign nationals to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The ICRC is expected to take them through the Rafah border crossing between southern Gaza and Egypt, before traveling to Israel.
13 Israeli captives were handed over to the Red Cross in exchange for 39 Palestinians on the second day of four-day truce.
Earlier, Hamas has said the second round of Israeli hostage releases has been delayed, saying the pause will continue until Israel agrees to allow aid trucks to enter northern Gaza.
The al-Qassam Brigades added that the hostage releases would be delayed if Israel did not adhere to the agreed terms for the release of Palestinian prisoners.
Israeli media has been reporting that a number of hostages, still being held by Hamas, were in the process of being handed over to the Red Cross on Saturday.
Osama Hamdan, the Hamas representative in Lebanon, told the Lebanon-based Al Mayadeen TV channel that the suspension was due to violations of the truce committed by Israel "linked to aid (entering Gaza), in addition to shootings and the rising death toll ... Some of (these violations) happened yesterday, and repeated today," Hamdan said.
On Friday, 13 hostages, including children and pensioners, were freed, in exchange for 39 Palestinian prisoners Israel.
Earlier, Hamas had agreed to release 13 Israeli hostages on Saturday, according to the Israeli military spokesman.
The 13 hostages would be swapped for another 39 Palestinian prisoners, the same number that was released on Friday.
Egyptian officials had said Hamas would free 14 hostages on Saturday in exchange for 42 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
Under the agreement, Hamas will release one Israeli hostage for every three prisoners freed.
Officials said positive signals have been received from all parties over a possible extension of the Gaza truce for one or two days.
An extension could lead to the "release of more detainees in Gaza and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails", Egypt's State Information Service added.
