The event, organized by the local government authorities, highlighted the achievements of four exceptional educators of the local government from public primary schools within the council area who recently emerged winners at both state and national levels.
Those honoured include James Olatunde Odubela, who won the Best State Administrator for Public Primary School Category; Taiwo Solanke, who emerged Best State Teacher for Public Primary School Category and the Overall Best Teacher in Nigeria for Public Primary School Category; Alonge Bolanle, who emerged the 2nd Best State Administrator for Public Primary School Category; and Tijani Rahamot Bolanle, who was named 3rd Best State Teacher for Public Primary School Category.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Chairman of the Local Government described the event as a well-deserved recognition of dedication, passion, and consistency in shaping young minds.
He noted that the achievements of the awardees reaffirm the belief that teachers remain the true nation builders.
As part of the local government’s appreciation, one plot of land was allocated to each of the awardees by the Chairman to further encourage excellence and commitment in the education sector.
