The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, Ambassador Babatunde Adeyemo, has extended warm felicitations to the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, Barr. Lanre Ogunlowo, on the occasion of his birthday.

Ambassador Adeyemo, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Wednesday, described CP Ogunlowo as “a thoroughbred professional, disciplined officer, and patriotic Nigerian who has distinguished himself in the line of duty.”

Ogunlowo, an indigene of Ogun State, assumed office as the Commissioner of Police on December 20, 2024, succeeding Mr. Abiodun Alamutu at the Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

Adeyemo, a renowned real estate developer and veteran broadcast journalist, lauded the Ogun CP for his “commendable leadership style, intelligence-driven policing and swift operational efficiency,” which, he noted, have contributed significantly to the reduction of criminal activities in the state.

He said Ogunlowo’s proactive approach to policing and his firm stance against land grabbers have helped to restore public confidence and enhance investor trust, particularly within the Ogun State real estate sector.

“The CP’s exemplary service has brought renewed assurance to residents and investors alike. His tech-driven strategies and valor in tackling crime have made Ogun State safer and more attractive for business growth,” Adeyemo stated.

Recalling one of Ogunlowo’s early landmark achievements, Adeyemo commended the police boss for the swift rescue of Mrs. Folasade Odumosu, wife of former Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Hakeem Odumosu, who was abducted by gunmen on January 16, 2025, near her residence in Arepo.

“That formidable rescue operation, executed barely a month after he assumed duty, sent a strong message to criminal elements that a new sheriff had arrived in Ogun State,” Adeyemo added.

The Pelican Valley boss prayed for continued divine guidance and strength for CP Ogunlowo as he carries out his duties, expressing confidence that his leadership will further entrench peace, order, and investor confidence in the Gateway State.

“We felicitate with CP Lanre Ogunlowo on his birthday. His integrity, professionalism, and commitment to service represent a new dawn in Ogun State’s security architecture. We pray that Almighty God grants him more wisdom, good health, and long life in service to the nation,” he said.

Ambassador Adeyemo is the developer of Pelican Valley Estate, Laderin; The Pelican Brief Estate; Pelican Ecostay Apartments; and Pelican Greenish Acres Farm Estate, all located along the Abeokuta–Kobape corridor of Ogun State.
