Ahead of the forthcoming 2023 presidential elections, a 49-year-old farmer, Alh. Yusuf Babale, has paraded a family of 36, declaring the family votes for the Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party.
Babale, on Thursday in Kaduna, said the former Vice President is the only candidate that can unite the country irrespective of her insecurity and economic woes.
According to him, nobody can dissuade him, his four wives and 31 children from voting for the PDP candidate.
Babale, who hails from the same community with President Muhammadu Buhari’s Admin officer, Alh. Maikano Abubakar, and the incumbent Kaduna Deputy Governor, Haj. Hadiza Balarebe, lamented that both of them have failed to attract any meaningful development to the area.
He disclosed that his younger brother works in FAROU bottling water company owned by Atiku in Adamawa State, has helped in paying school fees of some of his children, hence the reason the entire family will vote for him.
“Atiku is a unifier who believes in women and youths’ inclusion. We believe every part of this country would have a sense of belonging if Alh. Atiku emerged the President,” he said.
While commenting on the duo of Maikano, the Buhari’s Admin Officer and Hajia Baarabe, he accused them of taking care of only members of their immediate family without attracting a single project to the area.
“If you visit Sanga local government headquarters today, there’s no bank or an advanced School in the Area, even, the Sanga General Hospital has been in a very dilapidated State for years.
“Our community leaders have visited them severally and I happened to be part of one of the visits to Alh. Maikano in Abuja to solicit for infrastructural development, but no response.
“Our local government is in shambles, there is not any infrastructure one can point to that is inaugurated by either the Deputy or Alh. Maikano.
“It is better for us to vote for another political party which we believe can entrench true democratic values and we’re confident Alh. Atiku has the capacity to do that,” Babale added.
