Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, ex -Minister of Science and Technology has backed the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the possible adoption of consensus to determine the party's presidential candidate later this month.
Speaking through his spokesman, Dr Uche Egenti, when he returned his nomination form, Ogbonaya Onu said he has the temperament to lead a diverse nation like Nigeria and stabilize the polity.
He equally explained that he has no objections to the mode of primary the leadership of the party would adopt to produce the candidate of the APC.
He however urged the party to ensure sincerity and transparency in the discharge of the forthcoming special Convention.
Many supporters of other aspirants, especially that of the former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu have opposed to consensus as a mode of primary.
